- I would personally buy the Toshiba, and plus you get three years warranty which can be really handy. I was told that HP is more stylish looking than Toshiba but Toshiba is more performance oriented.
- I just bought a Toshiba A200. I think Tosh screens are far better than any other brand as far as resolution goes. Also the extra inch makes a huge difference. I also think they are more sturdy with shock absorbers. I had to pay extra for the 3 year warranty but its on site next business day which is very handy. Thats available in Australia and NZ. Not sure where you are...
- HP is only only brand with the built in restoration disks on a partition. This means if you have a virus or soething you just hit f12 while rebooting and it fixes your PC. No one else has this option. Toshiba is OK but HP is better.
- Personally I would go for the HP. It is faster. Lighter (believe me that extra 320 grams is heavy). Better resolution for its screen size. More storage. Better graphics card. If you put warranty over the advantages above that is entirely up to you.
