What exactly are these computer parts?
We had sent in a HP Pavilion Notebook PC DV2710US to HP for repair recently. It was getting really hot on the left side of the computer from the bottom left to the left side of the keyboard. We also maked on the paperwork of a high pitch electronic sound. We just got the laptop back today and it says the following parts were replaced: 60.4S602.001 ASSY TIBET THERMAL MODULE(RO) 6K.4Z2MB.001 ASSY MB TIBET W/O CPU FF UMA Can anyone tell me in a non-computer repair person language what these peices that were replaced are???

- I believe the thermal module is a small power supply on the mobo, I could be wrong. That or it is a heat intake/disperser. Not sure about the second one. This is based on a google search.
- the thermal module is a copper heatpipe with a radiator at the end (this is the cooling element for the CPU). MB means motherboard, maybe they replaced it but they didn't replace the CPU (if the costs are beyond about $250 the motherboard has been replaced).
