HP laptop recommendation

I'm looking at buying a laptop for my A level subjects coursework(ICT,Computing,RE,Business and Geography) and to be able to do lots of other things such as run the Sims 2 and Open for Business,my Nike thing,Itunes etc,Maybe movies etc I prefer HP as I have an old HP laptop and a HP desktop but I don't mind looking at sony or tobisha. I looked around and the HP Pavilion dv9885ea (KU177EA) looked good.
