my notebook burns whole dvd. is it possible to just burn parts of a dvd?

HOW DO I BURN JUST PARTS OF A DVD? my hp notebook just burns whole dvd.

  1. it is not possible, the way how logical file systems work is that they can be spread out through out the disk.

  5. CD and CVD recording requires completing the copy and then setting the disk layout, which in turn makes iut impossible to add to the content. If you use re-recordable, keep a folder with a copy of the existing content. You can then add to it as you go and eventually erase the disk and record again. This allows you to build the disk as if you were just adding to it.
