Cheap Gaming Computer (Parts Help) (Building It Myself)?
I am looking to buy a new gaming computer, but am looking for the cheapest parts (yet good parts...dont need to be GREAT or anything). My old parts were... AMD Athlon 64 3200+ Corsair 512mb PC3200 DDR (2x for 1GB) XFX GEFORCE 6600 GT PCI-Express (nVIDIA) CHAINTECH VNF4 Ultra 939 ATX AMD Motherboard ATI TV Wonder Pro TV Tuner 250 GB Hard Drive (Western Digital, I believe) I know I could just buy those and be able to play those games, but im looking to buy all my parts on NewEgg.com and 3/4 of those parts are not even stocked anymore they're already so old... anybody wanna help build my computer? lol sorry. thought i said the games! Mainly World of Warcraft Counter Strike: Source budget = cheap as possible that can play those games. ;)

- All depends which games you want to play, and those depend most heavily on the video card you get. Youll be fine with any Core 2 processor, and 2-4 Gb of memory As far as GPU goes, just get one that has 512 mb. The are many variations in this range though, you should be able to get one from $75 to $300 depending on how many processor cores, shaders, memory type, speed, it has Those are pretty mid range games. Just go for a 9800 GT or a 4850 Radeon HD
- Whats your budget? I can build a very good computer that can handle just about any game there is for about 750 dollars, AND using all current technology. I just built one on NewEgg for 462.00, and thats using current technology but not the fastest. Prices can go down from there.
