Building gaming computer, parts too much, where can i go lower?

I am building a gaming pc and i have found these parts online. pc case+power = Antec Sonata III 500 Black 0.8mm cold rolled steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case 500W Power Supply - Retail motherboard= GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3R LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail cpu= Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 Wolfdale 3.0GHz LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor Model BX80570E8400 - Retail graphics card = EVGA 512-P3-N879-AR GeForce 9800 GTX+ 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Retail I have RAM and hard drive already. Where can I downgrade to get under the $600ish price zone (including shipping and tax)? Thanks

  2. You could drop that video card down to something like an ATi 4830. The processor can be dropped to an e7400.
  3. You can: 1. drop the sonata case to a $20 case 2. drop the board to a cheap nonoverclocking motherboard 3. drop the processor to E7xxx series 4. drop the graphics card to 4850/4830/9800GT
