How do i add another user to my gateway laptop?

i am on my grandfather's gateway laptop..(windows vista) everytime i turn on the computer there will be a little picture icon that will say Tony and he needs to type in his password in order to get to the desktop. some of my friends have it where each person in their house has an icon and whoever is using it clicks their name and types in their password. how can i add another user so that if im going on i will need to type in my password? thanks!

1. User administration is here on XP Start>Control Panel>User Accounts>User Accounts It should be similar on Vista
2. administrator on vista can add you in. talk to grandpa
3. Start>Control Panel>User Accounts>new user Accounts
4. You should have the option to click Start, then Log off...you should be able to switch users or add a user in there...Thats how my Gateway was.*
