when I start my computer, I didn't see any message in my monitor.how can check that the hardware parts a?

I don't hear a sort beep also, only the FAN run, i see a red light & a green light in the mother board. thz

1. listen for the power on self test(post) beep. if you hear one short beep all the hardware should be working properly. what was your question?
