I'm bulding a computer with separate parts. Are these good enough hardware to play top notch games??

I'm building a computer and I'm buying all the hardware from newegg.com. I want to know from people who know a lot about this stuff if these parts all work well and fit together to make an awesome gaming rig, also want to know if its good enough to play crysis?? CPU - Intel Core2Duo E6750 GPU - MSI GeForce 8800 GT 512 MB 256-bit PCI express 2.0 x16 HDCP Motherboard - MSI NVIDIA nForce 650i sli ATX intel PSU - Rosewill 600W ATX12V v2.01 RAM - CORSAIR 4GB(2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) HDD - Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 ST3250410AS 250GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive DVD - SAMSUNG 20X DVD±R DVD Burner with LightScribe Black SATA Model SH-S203N Case - Antec Nine Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case OS - Microsoft Windows Vista 32-Bit Home Premium So yea, this will roughly cost me 1,038 dollars. I want to know if all these will fit in the case and work properly together. will this let me play crysis on max settings??

  1. its more than enough...only thing better would be an sli configuration
  2. You should use a 64x bit operating system or you won't get all 4GB of your RAM, only about 2.3 or so.
  3. You'll be able to run Crysis on High settings very smooth. Not sure about max settings though. That would depend on your definition of running it. Some people can get it running on Very High on an 8800GT, but it isn't really going to run at 60fps. That being said, you really don't need to run Crysis at 60fps in order for it to look good. Crysis actually plays very smoothly at only 25fps because of the motion blur and post processing effects.
  4. looks good man.. I spent thousands on a rig for Crysis - but the simple truth is even with two 8800GTX's in SLI - crysis still only runs at about 18fps on all VERY HIGH. I've essentially got a $2000 email machine now that I'm bored with crysis!
  5. i just built myself a new computer, if you want i can give you a setup that i know will work with crysis full quality and i know will more than just sustain your needs
