- The model number is right. This laptop was discontinued before it ever shipped. Gateway went to a new case design. It's specs aren't listed in support or new products on gateway's site yet. It's strange, but considering that I found this one when I was about to spend within $50 of it's price on a MSI Wind, external CD, and ram upgrade, it was kinda a no-brainer to buy it. If you buy it, remember it's a gateway. Gateway can be really really cheap, and this is no exception. They filled both slots with 1G so-dimm. If you want more ram (It's vista, duh, you want more ram.) you have to pull 1g sticks out to add anything. If it has limits similar to the nearest model numbers, you max ram should be 4G, and you should just buy it now. Vista with 2 gig will make you want to smash the thing.
