Sims 3 system reqs compatable with a Gateway Model MT6728? (specs included)?
Ok, so I reaaaally want to buy Sims 3 to play on my laptop but I'm not sure if my little budget laptop can hack it. Here are the Sims 3 system requirements from the site: http://www.thesims3.com/game/systemreq Here are my laptop's specs: http://reviews.cnet.com/laptops/gateway-mt6728-pentium-dual/4507-3121_7-32865723.html Can I run Sims 3 on my laptop as is without it melting? I'm not really versed in technical computer stuff so it'd really help if someone could help me. :[ Thanks! <3

- Everything looks good, except for clock speed of the processor and the Graphics card. That would be a big issue. I'd say no, that they are not compatible.
- If you are running Vista, I am not sure how well, if at all you will be able to run it, unfortunately. If you have XP on your computer instead, there is a better chance you might be able to. I would wait until the game has been out for a week or two and see what type of performance people are getting from computers with similar specifications as yours.
- Definitely not happening.
- It would work, just very poorly. If you don't mind horrendous graphics and bad framerates, you should be Oh-kay... I wouldn't recommend. But I know there is nothing stopping a Sims fan from getting their game... Also, Sims 3 is pretty good, been playing it for the last two weeks or so.
- thats a little upsetting to hear since i too own a gateway laptop, but god knows i wouldnt be able to figure out the model number, i too am i huge sim head, bad thing is my parents desktop tends to eat up disks and runs very slow so i wouldnt wanna risk my new sims 3 game is that death machine, of course im still going to try and run it on my laptop, fingers crossed if it doesnt work im going to figure out what i gota do to make it work...!!!
