how much will it cost to replace the broken lcd on my lpatop?

my gateway solo 5350 fell off a table yesterday and the screen got crushed by the actuall computer part of the laptop. the screen itself is destroyed completely. how much will it cost to fix the screen?

1. not worth it. just buy a new laptop
2. Alot. I have a dell which is less than a year old and I can't just replace the LCD, I have to replace the whole top portion which is $500.00 because it is newer. Can't find a refurbished one. Gateway could be higher or lower, but it's still expensive either way.
3. +The LCD is one of the most expensive (if not THE MOST) to have replaced not counting the system board. You might consider getting another laptop OR see if you can find the part at the link provided below. I can't vouch for this company because I have never done business with them, but their LCD prices are affordable.
