When upgrading a computer why shouldn't I buy cheap computer parts and then sell them for a profit?

1. huh? scammer! Not honest.
2. because computer stores are struggling to survive with the lowest possible prices. so you'll practically not be able to add something that can turn into profit for you! any computer part taken of the shelf will instantly lose about 10-25% of it's value right away! taking these into account, could you tell me how do you think it will be possible to make profit?
