Does anyone know where I can get a system recovery CD for my Gateway Laptop?

My laptop is busted up, used and abused. It caught a virus a couple of months back and fails to launch when I start Windows normally. My recovery CD is beyond repair, where can I get another one for cheap? I’m okay with computers, but I still would like to fix it myself, just because it’s cheaper. Can anyone give me any technical advice?

1. The recovery CD is specific to your machine. it has your drivers, et al. I know Dell will sell you a new CD, but it is not cheap. You are better off installing everything yourself. Find an OEM version of the OS and install it using the CD key from your original machine.
