How can I restore a computer that has different name brand parts it is made from hp compaq not sure what else?

1. See this tutorial. http://www.pctechbytes.com/hprecovery.htm Basically you disconnect any devices not installed originally and install them after using the recovery disk. Note that HP and Compaq are the same company, for several years now.
