How do I find out what model my dad's Gateway computer is?
My dad has a Gateway. That's all it seems to say. I don't know what model it is. I need to find out so that I can find out if it has Bluetooth so I can find the Windows XP Bluetooth setup so I can sync my phone to the computer. Oh, and the search function isn't working.

- right click on computer in start menu
- start up the computer ;click on the start button on the bottom left corner; then click on the control panel; then click on the system icon; a window will come up with all that information
- Unfortunately, simply doing right click on Start Menu>My Computer will not answer your question. On my computer, for example, it only lists the computer as "Toshiba Satellite", without giving the specific Satellite model number (there are lots of them). However, if you find your way to the Device Manager, you may be able to answer your real question: whether or not there is Bluetooth support. According to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/883259, you should see components like "Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator" if it is supported. To get to the Device Manager, right click on My Computer, then left-click the Hardware Tab, then the Device Manager button.
