Is this a good laptop to buy? Any reviews will be highly appreciated :)?

Hi, I'm off to university and I would love to know if this is a good laptop to purchase, especially from those who are technically gifted and/or computer wizards =] . 1. Eh, for that price you can get better. The Pentium Dual-Core is not bad, but at the $700 range, you should be able to find a laptop with Core 2 Duo instead (higher tier). Besides that though, the rest of the specifications are decent. Media Accelerator 4500HD is an integrated chipset, so don't expect to do any PC gaming. The hard drive and RAM are fine. For example you can customize an HP dv6t (base $629.99) and it already comes with a Core 2 Duo. Rest of the specs match your Gateway.
