I have a Gateway Solo 5300 laptop a 2002 version with SP3 how do I clean my registry. What's the procedure?

I upgrade from SP2 to SP3 and it is low on memory before the upgrade.

3. Hi Ah...so you are trying to free up some memory huh? Well hopefully I can be of some assistance. The process doesn't change for cleaning a registry no matter what type of laptop/desktop you have. Also there are other ways to free up your memory besides cleaning the registry. The article below will help explain some of those ways. But the easiest way to do it, is a registry cleaner. I have Perfect Optimizer installed on my PC and it automatically scans not only the registry but other problematic areas that messes up and slows down your computer. So if i had one tool to recommend, it would be that one. I really dont recommend trying to clean your registry on your own.
