Computer Notebook Problems...?

So I sent my notebook out for repairs. Best Buy told me the motherboard was fried and I am covered for parts. Do you think they will issue me a new notebook?

  1. That depends on the cost. If they think they can replace the board cheap, they will. Normally BB tries to fix themselves unless it costs them money. Otherwise, they may send it in if it is covered by your warranty. Keep in mind that sometimes you get refurbished parts in return if it were a warranty claim. On the rare occasion they may give you a new notebook, but I wouldn't hold my breath. Either way, make sure you have your data backed up, because neither BB nor the manufacturer will guarantee it and if they feel the need to give a replacement, they wont take the time to back it up for you.
