- according to "eXtreme Power Supply Calculator" you need a 395w PSU "i added 2 80mm fan and 120mm fan and 1 additional sound card" and for safety you can add more 50w the total 450w PSU that you need visit "eXtreme Power Supply Calculator" http://extreme.outervision.com/psucalculatorlite.jsp hope this F1
- Hello. Since you are planning to do SLi in a couple of months, 800 Watts or higher would be recommended. According to your basic Setup (not with SLI), 650-700 Watts will be enough to power your system, consistently. Other Notes: Common Misconception-Wasting Power: You will not be wasting power, power will be set to what your computer needs, (if your PC needs 500 watts, the 650 Watt PSU will give the computer 500 Watts). Remember, the extra power is necessary for future adaptations and upgrades for the PC (Video Card, more Hard Drives, for example). Remember to Check 12 Rails on the power Supply to make sure you have Adequate Amps to power your Graphic Card. Some good Power Supply Manufacturers -OCZ (Also known as PC Power & Cooling) -Corsair -SeaSonic (Best of the best, many OCZ and Corsair are actually rebadged Seasonic Power Supplies) -CoolerMaster -Antec -ThermalTake Hope That Helps.
