Gateway Parts

I have a M-Series Gateway Laptop. It automatically connects to my workplace wireless. Cant find any others?

I have tried it at home(wireless) Hotels(wireless) University(Wireless) and it says Networks are available then when I open it "cant find any". Please Help The Os is Vista

1. Your network settings are probably set for your workplace rather than to discover available networks. Check your network properties (you didn't say what OS/version you're running). Often, laptops will ship with customized networking "wizard" software that you can run to locate and connect to wireless networks. If yours does not, then you will have to use the OS's built-in networking tools to reconfigure access.
