Gateway Solo Laptop Issues?

I have a gateway laptop solo windows xp now when system is on for a while 1/2 the screen stays normal while other 1/2 goes completely black on responsive need to reboot anyone ever experience that please anyhelp would be appreciated? ..............Thanks Bill NC

1. Maybe you should update your video driver, although it might just be your moniter.
