This Laptop has mostly good but some bad reviews?
I have been researching laptops and currently I have found one that is average priced and has GREAT features. 4 gigs of RAM memory. 320 gb of computer hardrive memory. It's also a dual processor. And about three hours of battery life. There are more features but these are the main ones. I have been doing research and looking at the reviews. I have found that there are three main problems with the system: 1) It leaves fingerprints everywhere 2) The keys are "flat" 3) The mousepad is supposedly defective. So, most all of the reviews said this. I am curious to know what exactly they mean by the keys are "flat" and it leaves fingerprints everywhere? I mean the fingerprints don't seem to be a defect it seems to be like not keeping it clean? Anyways heres the link for the laptop: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Gateway+-+Laptop+with+AMD+Athlon%26%23153%3B+II+Dual-Core+Processor+-+Coffee+Brown/9605383.p?id=1218130488875&skuId=9605383&st=Gateway Laptop with AMD athlon&cp=1&lp=1

- I assume the keys are not recessed but I would not recommend a Gateway www.dell.com Inspiron 15
- It has a shiny dark smooth surface, which shows fingerprints very easily. The tops of the keys are perfectly flat, which is not normal; usually each key is a bit 'scooped' so that it's lower in the middle than on the sides. If the key is flat, it might feel a bit weird to type on. Both could be things you could easily get used to. But as far as a defective mousepad, that's clearly not something you can ignore - unless you plan to always use an external mouse instead.
- Flat would mean just as it says, the key are somehat on the small size and probably are not raised, but I'd be more concerned with the lousy processor of the computer. AMD is not a great processor and Gateway is not a high end brand. If you want a good trusting brand I'd go with either hp, toshiabia, sony or asus.
- Well I would not recommend you that you should go for this Gateway laptop. Instead of this I would suggest that you should go for a Refurbished laptops which comes with good warranty and works fantastically well. So I would say that simply go for this refurbished laptop
