my Gateway M series laptop doesn't play CDs, I am not getting any error codes, how do I fix this?

The laptop is running Vista, and sometimes when trying to add music to my iPod, I get a message to reinstall iTunes, even though I have recently done that. This is getting frustrating.

1. OMG! I'm sorry that i can't be of any help. I just had a similar problem quite recently. I so know what type of situation you're talking about...
2. do you mean DVDs instead of CDs? You need to download XP Codec pack Maybe the VCL media player and if that don't work you need a program to set the region on the DVD player.
