Live chat to get discounts on parts from Newegg?

I've read on a couple of forums that if you do a live chat with Newegg's customer service you can convince them to give you free shipping or even a discount on items. I just purchased $930 in computer parts yesterday but I still need a case to put them in. Seems like a fair argument that a purchase that large warrants some sort of benefits right?! Plus I spent $1200 with them on my last build 5 years ago. Has anyone ever tried it? Do you think I'd have any luck asking for free shipping or something? The case I want was on sale for $70 free shipping last week and as soon as I put the cash in my bank account to buy, the price went up to $90 plus $20 shipping.. what a rip!

1. Tell them that you were looking at the barebones computers and pakage deals and found a case you want to have thrown in on your deal package deal ; since your buying premium components. Even tell them that you spent alot of time on their site sharing this information with friends that may have gone to tigerdirect.com to do business.
