I landed a job to code the database backend of a project based on mysql and PHP, but the company uses Zend Server and expects me to have Zend Studio on my computer. I will be paid well if I get my part done on time, and I think I could use Zend Studio on other projects too - so I got it on my mind to purchase the license. 1. Zend Studio should not be missing from any professional PHP developer's toolbox. It's almost an industry standard (like Eclipse), and since it integrates seamlessly with Zend Platform and Zend Server, the weapon of choice in business-critical PHP development. Now, what I don't understand is how come you got the job and you never used this - are you working in a different language on your daily job? I would expect you to be fairly skilled in PHP to get a freelancer contract - if not, you are going to waste a lot of time and money to make your contractor happy. But if you decide to continue chasing jobs in this field, you should not worry too much about a Zend Studio coupon code - 10USD off your "standard" price is not enough to justify wasting time to look for it or even posting here. Go ahead and purchase it and start writing code - you'll make the money in no time.
