  1. Those are nearly the same as my PC's performance.... And for the motherboards, Try Gigabyte DDR2 + 4 Usb 2.0 ports + 3 PCI slots + 1 PCI Express Slot and Ethernet Port + HD Realtek Sound Card....
  2. My suggestions: CPU: AMD Athlon X2 7850 CPU (dual core, 2.8GhZ) for 80 dollars instead. Way more power. PSU: You won't need 750 watts, go for 500 and use the money elsewhere. Hard drive: 500 is more than enough. DVD burner: Do you ever burn DVD's? If not, just get a regular DVD drive and save 10 bucks. Motherboard: You can really get anything, as long as it has room for 2 gigs of RAM (it should) and a PCI 2.0 slot. The A780LM is an example for 55 bucks. OS: Get Vista, it supports DirectX 10. I would try to reduce spending on the DVD drive and case, and try to get a better graphics card. Motherboard :
