Gateway Parts

How much is a gateway model 3310s computer tower worth if everything in it except for the Motherboard?

How much would the parts or the computer be worth if everything works right except the Motherboard is fried??

  1. Well, it depends on what other parts there are. Here are the specs for this old computer: http://support.gateway.com/s/PC/3310Series/1008367sp18.shtml It has a celeron D processor, so its probably worth about $10 It has worthless DDR RAM - You might get 5 bucks for each used stick ($10) 80/120/160 Gig HD, probably worth about $10 no matter which one Old CD/DVD Rom drive, maybe $2 Just for scrap and to be nice to you, I might give you $32 for the whole thing. All the other stuff like the case, etc are trash.
  2. Well.. you wouldn't be able to sell the computer as working, because nothing on it is going to work if the computer is fried. You could sell the: *Processor *Memory *CD/DVD R/RW drives it has *PSU *GPU (If any) *Any PCI or PCI-E devices Open up the computer and try to find out the names of the devices, or google the computer name andn model for the specs. Then search for them on Google Shopping.
  3. Model means nothing. Each model can be customized for better or worse parts. I found this: Manufacturer Gateway Model 3310 3310 Intel Celeron D System Type Desktop Standard Memory 256 (256MB x1 Removable) Maximum Memory 2 GB Sockets 2 Slots/Banks 2 Installation Notes System ships with PC2700 DDR SDRAM and supports PC3200/PC2100 DDR SDRAM Non-ECC Unbuffered. digital media manager supporting the following CompactFlash, IBM MicroDrive, Memory Stick, Memory Stick Pro, SmartMedia Card, Secure Digital, and MultiMedia card. SimpleTech doesn't currently support Memory Stick, Memory Stick Pro, and IBM Microdrive solution. Without a mother board the only salvageable parts are (assuming your sound card and video card are on board): Cd-R/Dvd Drive: 20$ 256 gig ram - 10$ 250 gig hard drive - 45$
  4. About $2.50
