If i were to buy computer parts to build a cheap computer that can run the latest games what should I get?
I was thinking about buying computer parts from tiger direct and building my own pc. what motherboard, video card, sound car, hard drive, ram, cpu, power supply, dvd player should i get?

- Use Newegg.com for your parts, if possible. Best place on the net, IMO. I'm not sure I can give specific components without a solid budget, but the biggest factor in price will be your CPU and video card, followed by the RAM and Motherboard. AMD generally has better performance than Intel and Nvidia for the price. You should be able to get an AMD Phenom II quad core of some sort for a good price. Go for 1GB of memory on the graphics card, with the best chipset you can afford. You'll want DDR3 memory, preferably dual-channel or triple-channel, with as fast of a clock speed as you can afford. You should be able to get a decent case for $50 or so. Newegg and Xoxide are good places to get those. A ~600W power supply should be plenty. For the drives, make sure you get eSATA. If you could edit a solid budget into your question you'll get a lot more help. Also, checking the forums I listed in my sources will get you much better answers.
