2. hi mate theres cheap pc components and then theres extremely cheap however 100euros for a 3.4ghz quad core cpu is pushing it to say the least,that said though you can get a Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200 for just £91.94 inc. VAT from http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Components/CPUs+%2F+Processors/AMD/Phenom+II+AM3/AMD+PHENOM+II+X4+925++AM3+RETAIL?productId=38543 buying from ebay is a option however i wouldnt do it myself as you cant be sure what quality the cpu will be in when you receive it,however by purchasing it retail from aria you get a decent warranty from both them and from intel/amd with 100 euros your budget you may want to wait for around 6 months until the core i5 cpu,s from intel drop in price,these are quad core cpu,s however unlike the core i7 cpu,s they are just quad core were as the core i7,s have 4 x cores which are each hyper-threaded...giving you a massive eight logical cores also the core i3 processors are dual core,however since they use the same architecture as the core i7,s they are equivelent to a core 2 quad,and they are also highly overclockable also try palicomp( http://www.palicomp.co.uk/ ) who do some reasonable pc components good luck mate !
