Being A+ certified gives you a way to buy computer parts for cheaper?

I've heard that being fully A+ certified helps you with a license or something to buy computer parts from some vendors cheaper. Is this true? Which vendors would these be?

  1. no
  2. To purchase computer parts or anything else wholesale for that matter, you simply need a business license. Check with your local government offices to see how much a business license is. In the cities I've lived in so far, it has ranged from $30 to $100. Edited to add: Anyone can get a business license. Your license might look something like, Your Name, DBA Discount CPU's, or whatever.
  3. no help on buyin, it'll just give you more of a chance to land a job in the IT field, btw, congrads!
  4. Sometimes, for example, where I live there's a shop(distributor) called Microshop in which they only sell to shops and certified technician(you need to show them your Technician ID), I live in Puerto Rico and this is not the only shop with discount prices for technicians, and if they do exist here they must exist in mainland US, however you need to find this store on your own, I've found out about Microshop from a fellow technician friend.
