Gateway Built in MIC not working?

Gateway Built-in MIC not working Gateway M-Series laptop Windows 7 Ultimate My mic is not working, webcam works great I ran the test, if i tap on the Mic hole or blow on the Mic you can hear it but if i talk you can't I went under sound and tried every setting but nothing worked It seems like I would have to yell and be really close to the mic for it to work I need help

1. From the sound of it, it's just a shit microphone. Get an external one.
