Gateway Built-in MIC not working?

Gateway Built-in MIC not working? Gateway Built-in MIC not working Gateway M-Series laptop Windows 7 Ultimate My mic is not working, webcam works great I ran the test, if i tap on the Mic hole or blow on the Mic you can hear it but if i talk you can't I went under sound and tried every setting but nothing worked It seems like I would have to yell and be really close to the mic for it to work I need help

1. call gateway tech support if you cant find there number (which you probaly wont) on the website, look in your book or have a online chat with them.
