does microsoft webcams work on a dell inspron 15z with windows 7?

i got a dell inspron 15z with windows 7 and i wanted to no if i could put a microsoft webcam on it. it says on the intrnet dell computers can onley have dell parts

1. web cams can work with any PC provided you have the appropriate driver accepted by your operating system (Windows).
2. Yes it will work. Dell alway give you that cr*p Best of luck you will need it with a Dell.
3. Will only work if u have the drivers for Windows 7 if not may or may not work. Windows 7 has many incompatibilities. RICK
