How do I get driver software for a wireless card for a gateway laptop?

I reformatted the hard drive on a gateway laptop and reinstalled vista. Now I can't get a wireless connection. It says I need the driver software but I have no idea where to get it. All I know is that its a gateway laptop. What do I need to know to get the right software and where can I get it? Thanks.

2. try looking up the model number and then google it and you should b able to find drivers
