Why does a message keep coming up on my computer about Gateway Registration?

I've had this Gateway laptop since Christmas and this problem has just gotten out of hand. A message comes up just about every five minutes saying my product is already registered, and I want to end so badly. The worst part is YOU CANNOT EXIT. You have to WAIT for it to disappear. It appears in the lower-right corner of the screen with a gray bar at the top and the rest is white. And going back on what I said about the worst part, it isn't that you can't close it, it's that whenever you're playing a PC game or ANYTHING full screen, it minimizes it and it's PISSING ME OFF. Help is VERY appreciated. I want this to stop. I would say exactly what it says, but I have to wait for it to reappear.
