Gateway Parts

Where can i get the best, top of the line, computer parts for reasonably great prices?

Ok, so I want to get the Dell Alienware M17x gaming laptop and i was wanting to know where the best place or site to get top-of-the-line parts with fairly good prices is. I curently have a 17' Gateway MX7834. So ultimately I'd like to just upgrade my gateway to better or as close to the M17x as possible. Also, if anyone can tell me what the best parts available I'd greatly appreciate it.

1. I think Newegg.com is the best though others like zipzoomfly and tiger direct.
2. definitely http://www.newegg.com No place really comes close. If you can't find something on Newegg for whatever reason, Amazon is okay, but a little more pricey.
3. if you know what you want shop around, stocktake sales are on so you can pickup a bargain, so many suppliers. I don't like buying site unseen, but to each his own.
4. Like many others have said, www.newegg.com is a great resource for buying any computer components from a wide variety of manufacturers. Also, they are reasonably inexpensive. I f you can't find what you are looking for there, I would suggest www.tigerdirect.com, www.buy.com, www.ecost.com, www.amazon.com, www.bhphotovideo.com, www.overstock.com, or www.antonline.com.
5. The ultimate gaming machine is Alienware laptops, but they are expensive but on second Asus is also known for their functionality and for long term usage and they are also made for gaming purposes too.
