Make a new Notebook from an Old one.?

Hi guys, i have a compaq 6720s and i realized that the Display is the most valuable thing in it... I'm wondering if i could disassemble it, get the parts together and built another Notebook... Maybe changing the MotherBoard Adding a Video Card improving the processor ( buying new ones ) But keeping the Drivers, display, Wifi, Memory ( maybe adding more )... I don't know if im clear enough... Basically Save parts, getting new ones and REMOUNT it in my old Case, or maybe i get to buy a new one?? Thanks in advance.
