Yesterday, while online on my Acer Aspire One notebook, it just randomly died, or so I thought. The power light still came on, but nothing happened. I let it sit overnight. Today, I turn it on, and it works fine. I do some web browsing and some work then head out. I come back after a long day, turn it on, but after two or so minutes of it being turned on, the screen goes black. The computer itself is still on, but it seems dead. The power light is green, but nothing is working. I would like a very simple or direct answer. Is my computer dead? If not, is there a way to fix it? If there is a way to fix it, please give me simple directions! I'm not a computer whiz, part of the reason I got a netbook. Please help! If I take the battery out and put it back in and restart it, it will start up again, but then the screen will go black after a few minutes. This happens repeatedly, every time. I've been fiddling around with it for hours but nothing is working. No, there is no warning when it collapses. It just goes straight to a black screen.
