1. Sign up for ebay if you haven't already done so and use their search tool and look at "completed listing" prices to see what things actually sold. Only registered users can search completed items, but there's no need to actually buy anything. The fact that someone's listed a dozen Q6700's for $285 is meaningless, since the ones actually sold went for ~ $150

A fair price $400-$450 its fair performance price for very med gaming, internet and for school work for a teenager.Quad Core socket (775) and a decent video card and EPU power supply will save.But you have to look at this as a $600 dollar computer but if you compared hardware of today I3 530 dual core hyper threading 3.0GHZ 4GB DDR3 And a 1 TB hard drive and a $100 ATI 5000 card so am guessing $400 compared to the the hardware you can buy for the same price and other specs that are not listed. NOTE: But hey if you can milk it for more go for it haha.
