Should i buy a gateway laptop or HP laptop?

Should i buy a gateway laptop or HP laptop?? It will be the first laptop that i ever own or buy. Please give me advice or reviews.

1. Honestly, you should get a Mac laptop, they are absolutely amazing and elite personal computers. If Macs are out of the question, buy a Toshiba laptop; they are the personal computer leaders of the global market.

3. Neither. I have come to dislike both intensely. Get a Dell for excellent hardware quality and support.
4. Don't let anyone fool you by telling you Macs are hack proof, don't need security, or whatever... Linux/Unix based systems are still vulnerable to attacks. I just bought a Gateway with an Intel Core 2 Duo, 1G DDR2 RAM, etc., and so on... It is fast and very reliable. And as for Hardware... they all use most major mfg's named hardware such as Sony, Samsung, Hitachi, PNY, ECS, etc. It doesn't matter if it's a Dell, an HP, or an Acer... I have seen various name brand hardware in all of them. I have worked on all name brands and I find they all have their own issues at times but personally, I like the Toshiba's and the HP's (for looks and functionality mostly). Acer's and Lenovo's are good laptop brands and they are also much cheaper than most other names. As I said... they all have their own little issues - I have had to work on all of them at one time or other. It is a matter of personal choice. .
5. I will answer you based on how you have asked. Well My recommendation is Hp the reason being that they have been around longer, and you can get cheap help regarding Hp computers than gateway from anywhere you go. I do not indicate that gateway is bad at all. There are some things that are ignored by newer laptop makers which contribute to poor performance and or become problematic later on while using them. These elements of disregard (by new manufacturers) directly affects the general PC design, for example; you find a laptop with less number of air holes/ slots than recommended meaning if you don't do frequent blowing of interior, your PC starts to shut down indefinitely, overheating and so on. You realize that most of these PCs are just made to fit a certain design and look elegant but remember that this is a computer and not a tv or any ordinary electronic.

7. I would say that you should better go with HP laptops. These HP laptops are really nice and excellent in every aspect which gives a really good satisfaction in terms of prices and in terms of reliability as well. These are superb and awesome choice.
