How do I replace the keyboard and switch cover assembly on my laptop? HP G71 449WM 606UA?

I have the parts, I just need some guidance (or step by step instructions) on how to remove and reinstall the keyboard and switch cover assembly (part # 534984-001) HP G71-449WM NOTEBOOK PC Product # 606UA

1. look on the bottom for screws with a picture of a keyboard next to them, for the switch cover, there may be screws or it may be a "friction" fitting. just start taking things off that seem to be relevant and if you get to a point where you feel you might get lost, stop, reassemble and take it to a PC shop. YOu may need tools like a torx wrench or tiny nut drivers which may cost you more than if you take it to a shop. good luck
