Could I run mass effect 1 on my PC?

I want to get ME2 for my PS3, but would like to play the first, but I do not have an Xbox. My PC is a Gateway MD7818u (http://reviews.cnet.com/laptops/gateway-… It has a RAM of 4 gigs and an Intel GMA 4500MHD Dynamic Video Memory Technology for its Graphics Processor.

1. Nope. Mass Effect requires at least a GeForce 6800 GT or Radeon 1300XT to run. The integrated Intel GMA 4500 you have is roughly equal to an ancient GeForce FX 5200.
2. It may run on your PC but you already now that the Graphic Card is not built for games so I wouldn't expect much from it. For further reference to see if you can run a game on a PC, you can find out on www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/
