Gateway Parts

Have an older Gateway laptop (M Series) and a hinge has broken from the base. Help?

I'll admit, I'm not the most tech savvy person; every bit of help is very much appreciated. As I said earlier, my Gateway laptop is in need of repair. The left hinge connecting the screen to the keyboard has broken from the base, and from the looks of it, I need a new frame... or something.... The hinge and base are plastic and looked to be "melted" together as one before it was broken. (I do sincerely apologize if my description is lacking. I'm not sure what else to say or how else to describe it.) Is it possible to replace the hinge and bottom/back frame area? Where would I purchase these items (links, please, if possible)? Or what would you suggest I do instead? To be exact, it is a Gateway M460 laptop.
