Gateway Parts

Question about old computer?

i have a 17 inch gateway laptop, about 4 years old, the computer crashed and wont even turn on and the screen is busted, i already have a new laptop so there's no use in having it repaired. So is there any place that would buy the computer for the parts?

1. the HDD might be worth 5 bucks. maybe. but all your files are on it, aren't they?
2. Take the drive out. The rest of the computer isn't worth much, unless someone needs a new keyboard or case. I don't know anyone who'd pay for it as a parts computer.
