i have a gateway m-1624 and was looking for a processor upgrade?

i have a gateway m-1624 series laptop with a amd turion 64x2 processor. i would like to upgrade my processor and was wondering what my options are. please help, very serious but dont want to buy the wrong one. thanks

1. You will be time and money ahead just buying another and better alp top. When you replace the processor you will also have to change the BIOS chip and most likely the mother board and other components such as ram memory module type so the expense goes up and up if you can even find all the parts and configure every thing to work together.
