Gateway Parts

Do you have to replace a laptop keyboard with a keyboard from the same make and model computer?

I have an Asus K52 Notebook and my cats have been pulling off the keys and I need to replace it. I've been looking online and I can't find a keyboard for the model my computer is. Maybe I just haven't been looking at the right parts. Can someone help me?

  1. You have to contact the maker of your laptop and have them send you one.It must be the keyboard for your specific laptop. You could always just go to walmart and buy a USB keyboar though?
  2. Go to newegg.com and look at "USB Keyboards"... you can get one and just plug it in a USB port on the side of your laptop. And it will work perfectly. Only about $20. Or look locally at Wal-mart or Best Buy. Good luck! :-)
