Reviews for gateway NV4402u model?

I want to get a decent laptop that's not too slow and I don't need high performance so is the NV4402u model good enough at $350 or are there better laptops out there at the same price?

1. acers emachines and gateways are far less reliable than other models. I would NOT buy that machine. It is slightly lower cost, but it has a much higher "total cost of ownership" because of poor build quality and poor parts sourcing. There is a difference betwen being frugal (which is good) and being cheap (which is bad). Gateways are just plain CHEAP. Did you ever see an IT professional carry an acer, emachines or gateway? Do you see us deploying them? We don't because we are the people that get called when things go wrong. As far as that price range. There are different sales at different retailers ALL the time, there are alot of entry level computers for about 400 that you can choose from. We don't know the retailers in your area, but fry's tiger direct, and newegg are very good online retailers.
