Computer power supply?
My friend is giving me his old computer , which is pretty good , can run all modern games in high/medium graphics . The probem is , My power supply is 460 W and I was wodering if it will be powerful enough to run the system ? The computer parts , ram , graphics card , cpu etc are all around 3 years old. Will my power supply be enough ?

- More info on the pc , graphic card and cpu info tell him to run this program speccy at http://www.piriform.com this will give info on the hardware and what he use power supply to get it to run games at medium and high settings
- it should be as long as it has all the right connectors older boards have a 20 pin main power cable plus a 4pin for the cpu new boards have a 20+4 pin main power lead and a 4 pin for the cpu also if your using sata you will need sata power leads if your using ata you wil need 4 pin molex as for the wattage ask what wattage your friend was using
