Computer power supply?

My friend is giving me his old computer , which is pretty good , can run all modern games in high/medium graphics . The probem is , My power supply is 460 W and I was wodering if it will be powerful enough to run the system ? The computer parts , ram , graphics card , cpu etc are all around 3 years old. Will my power supply be enough ?

  3. More info on the pc , graphic card and cpu info tell him to run this program speccy at http://www.piriform.com this will give info on the hardware and what he use power supply to get it to run games at medium and high settings
  4. it should be as long as it has all the right connectors older boards have a 20 pin main power cable plus a 4pin for the cpu new boards have a 20+4 pin main power lead and a 4 pin for the cpu also if your using sata you will need sata power leads if your using ata you wil need 4 pin molex as for the wattage ask what wattage your friend was using
