Review on gateway computer laptops.?

So im looking for a laptop. I hate acer and toshiba and lenovo. Any other brands good? I have been looking into a gateway computer. Im more for media and social networking. Any thing would be great.

1. Brand really doesn't mean a thing besides reliability and support services (which is sometimes also given by the store). I have a gateway and it's been fine for me. If you're just interested in media, social networking, etc. a netbook is probably sufficient. Their hardware is generally less powerful, so if you're looking to do any gaming, multitasking, etc. I recommend a more powerful full-size laptop. I know people with Acers and Lenovos, and they've been fine for them too.
